These instruments are designed to carry our surgical procedures and are steam sterilised. As is well known, steam is able to penetrate all parts of the instrument surfaces including lumens and box joints, hence the reason for selecting steam as a preferred method of sterilisation. Risk factors associated with patient and staff contamination caused by surgical instrumentation have been well documented. Protection for you and your patients is possible with Single - Use instruments. Potential risk of cross infection caused by microbiological contamination can be dismissed. The instruments need to be disposed of in sharp bins. Non sharps can be disposed of in clinical waste bags. Packaging and instruments are clearly labelled for single use and are supplied either with a sterile field wrap or a quick to open pouch. All products are CE marked.
