The Spirometer is an instrument that allows the volume of the lungs to be measured, through the means of forced air expiration into the patients lungs. The readings are extremely accurate and the well-defined normal ranges take into account variables such as age, sex and height.

The device can distinguish between both obstructive (COPD, Asthma) and restrictive disorders; diagnose & assess the severity of COPD and other long diseases; measure the extent of abnormalities; Judge a patients response to therapy & determine the progression of a lung disease.
