Riester Ri-Star Ophthalmoscope

With HL 2.5 V halogen lamp. The ri-star? ophthalmoscope is suitable, among other things, for the examination of narrow and dilated pupils, slit ophthalmoscopy and the fixation test. Impairment at the front of the eye, such as changes to the cornea, foreign bodies and inflammation, become visible.

• Physicians side Focussing wheel for adjusting the corrective lenses from 0 to +20 and 0 to ·/font>20 dioptres.
• Illuminated dioptre display: plus values are displayed with black digits, minus values with red digits.

• Patients side Easy-to-operate aperture hand-wheel with simple-to-read display.

Four different apertures:

1. Fixation star for determining central or eccentric fixation.
2. Slit for differential determination, for example, in the case of injuries or tumours.
3. Semi-circle to reduce reflexes in small pupils.
4. Large circle for normal examination of the ocular fundus. Red open filter with contrast-enhancing effect for the exact assessment of fine vascular changes, for example, retinal haemorrhages. Locking device to protect against the entry of dust.
